The Europeans at Track Day Club

As an Australian, seeing this many hi-performance European luxury cars in one place is a rare experience. The only other time I witnessed ferraris, maseratis and porsches in the one place was outside the Monte Carlo Casino whilst on holiday.

TRACK DAY CLUB: Wakefield Park, Sydney

Founded in 2012, Track Day Club offers the chance for any drivers to test their wheels, set personal bests and let out their need for speed in what is a family friendly, safe and super fun event. IVV got the chance to participate last winter at Wakefield park and was blown away literally (as it was seriously windy) and figuratively by the approachable, well organized family run event.

Speed Sisters Premiere

After two successful crowdfunding campaigns to produce a film about their story in 2012 and 2014, the final film about Speed Sisters Noor, Marah, Mona, Maysoon and Betty is being premiered in Toronto at Hot Docs Canadian International Film Festival on April 29 – May 2.

THE MOBILE CLINIC: A Pink Jeep

Midwives for Haiti are not only supporting women in the earthquake devastated country but maintaining natural delivery and the wonderful care that midwives offer. Rotary International donated a fully equipped medical Jeep (in pink) as a mobile clinic to allow MFH to reach more remote locations for pre and post natal care. It's Not Rational

While it is totally rational to think I could have bought a reliable late 90’s holden for the same price and it would have air conditioning, electrics working, be fuel efficient etc etc… the real rational question to ask is… does it make me smile? SPEED SISTERS: Palestine

An example of grit, determination, strength and passion, these women are the Speed Sisters. Based in (and a product of) Palestine the Speed Sisters have managed to become the first all female racing group in the Arab world, smashing stereotypes whilst they're at it. Check out the trailer to their upcoming film about the inspired story of Noor, Marah, Mona, Maysoon and Betty.
