If it Doesn’t Run, Doesn’t Matter How Pretty it is

The Scarlet Headers founder Shelby Rossi noticed within the group there was a clear want to expand the intent behind their regular get togethers from planning their rides to learning more about motorcycles. Therefore, Shelby and the Headers are now using a Honda CL project build to build their knowledge on motorcycles, together and will be sharing their lessons here for others to learn with them.

Custom Yamaha XJR1300 by RB Racing

When Harley Borkowski from RB Racing asked me to photograph his custom Yamaha XJR1300…  I couldn’t say no. Harley is a well-respected builder, racer and mechanic in Sydney. He is one of the few professionals I know who sits comfortably in between the custom culture scene and the hi-performance sports bike scene and his take on the XJR is performance based, aesthetically purposeful and discreet.
